About Mr. Walter

"Sentiment without action is the ruin of the soul."
-- Edward Abbey

“To know that you don’t know is wisdom,” so saith Socrates. Well, Walter doesn’t know a lick about philosophy, but he has worked in the field of ecology. He has taught high school science and history. He has guided in kayaks and on foot those who descend upon this peninsula every winter to escape the frozen North. He was worked in many different education formats. He is from South Carolina, educated at Auburn and a father to two tiny Bedlamites and husband to someone far smarter than he. However, not a bit of this means he knows anything about philosophy…and he knows it.
